At Bruce Springsteen's concert in the VELTINS-Arena on June 27, three visitors were injured by a falling aluminum element of the video cube cladding. The VELTINS-Arena and FC Schalke 04 apologize to them.

The investigation into the events began on Friday night and the exchange with the authorities is extensive.

It goes without saying that safety is the top priority at all events. Accordingly, the club and VELTINS-Arena will initiate and implement all necessary measures to ensure that this continues to be the case.

The three concert-goers affected have already been discharged from hospital. The VELTINS-Arena and FC Schalke 04 wish the three of them a speedy and full recovery.
