Travel by Deutsche Bahn: Important information for Rammstein concerts

On Monday (29.7.) and Tuesday (30.7.), Deutsche Bahn (DB) will be carrying out construction work on central lines in the Ruhr area, which may also affect attendance at the two Rammstein concerts.

There will be disruptions and cancellations on the rail network. Despite the use of special trains, train services will be significantly reduced due to the cancellation of regular trains as a result of the construction site.

Early arrival and patience on departure are strongly recommended. Concertgoers arriving by train should contact Deutsche Bahn or the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Ruhr (VRR) in advance to find out about the train services available.

Despite the restrictions, special trains will run from Gelsenkirchen main station in the direction of Duisburg and Düsseldorf after the end of the concert. These special trains will run every half hour from 10.45 p.m. to 1.45 a.m. to Duisburg Hbf and on to Düsseldorf.
