Payment at the VELTINS-Arena

Speisen und Getränke können ab sofort an allen Kiosken in der VELTINS-Arena direkt mittels EC-, Debit- oder Kreditkarte sowie Apple Pay und Google Pay und Bluecode kontaktlos, schnell und unkompliziert bezahlt werden.

The Knappenkarte will of course remain valid. However, cash payment at the kiosk is still not possible.

The VELTINS-Arena requests that you use the "Pay at Schalke" function in the official S04 app to top up your Knappenkarte. This avoids waiting times at the PayCounters.

As FC Schalke 04 wants to work sustainably and without printed materials, the sales receipt will be made available digitally in future. After paying for the purchase at the kiosk, it can be scanned from the customer display at the checkout via smartphone and saved after downloading.

 

Pay counter for cash top-ups

The payment counters are located on the promenade in the lower tier at blocks A, G, N3, K and S3.

There, the Knappenkarten can be topped up with cash. EC and credit card payments can be made directly at the kiosk.

The counters are located opposite kiosks 322 (Block A), 301 (G), 304 (N3), 308 (K) and 317 (S3) as shown on the map.

Advantages of the Knappenkarte

Via the official Schalke 04 app for iOSand Android devices, fans can top up their Knappenkarte online in advance of their visit to the stadium.

Deposits can be made using your own credit card, a paydirekt account, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay. There are a total of 04 predefined amounts: 10, 20, 50 or 100 euros. The balance can be viewed and managed at any time in the official Schalke 04 app (maximum balance: 150 euros).

All guests are recommended to top up their Knappenkarte in the Schalke 04 app in advance.

Pre-loaded scarce tickets (10, 20, 50, 100 €) can be purchased before an event at the Service Center at the FC Schalke 04 office.

The minimum top-up amount per Knappenkarte is €5.

Tickets can be exchanged for euros at the return points in the arena or at the FC Schalke 04 Service Center during opening hours.

The Knappenkarte remains the property of FC Schalke 04 Arena Management GmbH. It will be withdrawn after the full amount has been charged. If the card is lost, the available amount will only be paid out if the card number is given and proof of card purchase is provided. In the event of misuse, in particular manipulation, the card will be blocked immediately.

The Knappenkarte can be used for all events in the VELTINS-Arena: for FC Schalke 04 matches as well as for concerts and other sporting events.

There are ticket counters in front of kiosks 301, 304, 308, 317 and 322.

As the cash register system in the VELTINS-Arena has changed, all visitors now need a new chip card to pay for food and drinks. The old chip cards are no longer valid. The new Knappenkarten are available at all Knappenkarten counters. No deposit is charged for them.

The credit on the old Knappenkarten can be transferred to the new Knappenkarten.
Exchange options are available on the club grounds at the Service Center counter (opening hours: Monday to Friday from 10 am to 6 pm) and on match and event days at the service point in stairwell TH5 at the VELTINS-Arena. This applies to up to ten tickets per person. Unfortunately, it is not possible to exchange tickets at the Service Center on match, event and Bundesliga pre-sale days.

Alternatively, the cards can also be sent by post. The outstanding balance will be credited by bank transfer. If you wish to return the empty cards, please enclose a sufficiently stamped envelope.
