Klaus Fischer and Olaf Thon invite you to a stadium tour
A stadium tour through the VELTINS-Arena - an incomparable experience for fans of the Royal Blues. In future, the new celebrity tours will not only take them behind the scenes of the impressive building, but also give them an exclusive insight into the past with many previously unknown stories and anecdotes.
The two honorary captains Klaus Fischer and Olaf Thon alternate once a week as tour guides through the VELTINS-Arena and talk about special experiences from their active time at Schalke. Together with the visitors, the club legends relive personal memories of the former training ground, the coaching staff and match preparation and draw comparisons between the Glückauf-Kampfbahn, Parkstadion and the VELTINS-Arena. As usual, fans can see places on the tour that are otherwise not freely accessible to them: the Schalke dressing room, players' tunnel, media center with press conference room, stadium chapel.
Take a look behind the scenes of the VELTINS-Arena with the Quatscher. Dirk Oberschulte-Beckmann, FC Schalke 04's stadium announcer, takes visitors on an exclusive tour of the royal blue living room and talks about his work. He even takes the participants to places that have to remain hidden on a regular arena tour.
The tour lasts approx. 90 - 120 minutes and costs 20 euros for adults and 15 euros for young people under the age of 21. The number of participants is limited to 16 people. Arena tour online booking

Winter is the best time to experience the royal blue living room in a special atmosphere. That's why S04 offers night tours from November to February, which are very popular. Participants can expect a two-and-a-half-hour journey through time. FC Schalke 04 has its roots in the middle of a region shaped by mining - so where better to show this than from the upper tier of the stadium with an unforgettable panoramic view over the entire illuminated Ruhr region? In addition to the urban development of Gelsenkirchen, visitors can also learn all about Schalke's club history. The VELTINS-Arena has everything you need to relive the fascination for soccer and the emotions of the Royal Blues on this night. The nightly tour ends with a cozy exchange over fresh Veltins or other cold drinks.
