Follow live from now on: Parking lot utilization at the VELTINS-Arena

New service for visitors to Schalke's stadium. From now on, fans arriving by car can follow the occupancy of the parking spaces around the VELTINS-Arena live. The current occupancy is updated every five minutes and can be viewed with just one click at en.veltins-arena.de.

Together with the service provider APCOA Flow, which handles the digital payment of parking fees, S04 is making it easier for all stadium guests to find a free parking space. The service is offered in parking areas B, C1 and C2, C3 as well as D and E.

On en.veltins-arena.de, a bar shows the utilization of the individual areas. A traffic light system makes it easy to see how busy the parking lot is: the bar is green for up to 50 percent occupancy, orange for up to 80 percent and red for 80 percent or more.

Digital payment system at Schalke

Stadium visitors are requested to pay their parking fees for areas B to E either at several ticket machines on site, completely digitally via QR code or via the APCOA Flow app. The parking fee for FC Schalke 04 soccer matches will continue to be 5 euros from two hours before kick-off. Those who arrive earlier do not have to do anything and will continue to pay nothing. Parking fees may vary for events.

Fans do not receive parking tickets when entering the parking lot; instead, the license plate number is automatically recorded by cameras. It is recommended to pay immediately after entering the car park.
