Change in Team Germany 1: Vanessa Voigt, who was due to compete in the biathlon in Schalke on Saturday, December 28, has had to withdraw at short notice due to illness.
Together with team partner Justus Strelow, Anna Weidel now takes to the track. Franziska Preuß and Philipp Nawrath will be competing for a podium place for Team Germany 2 in the VELTINS Arena.
The Austrian duo of Anna Gandler and Simon Eder have also had to withdraw due to illness. Polona Klemencic and Jakov Fak now complete the starting field for Slovenia.
