Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Yes, it is permitted to a certain extent or in certain quantities and sizes. Detailed information can be found here under Property & Stadium Regulations point §5 Prohibitions 1d .
How do I pay for my food and drinks?
Food and drinks can now be paid for directly at all kiosks in the VELTINS-Arena using EC, debit or credit cards as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay in a contactless, quick and uncomplicated manner.
The Knappenkarte will of course remain valid. However, cash payment at the kiosk is still not possible.
The VELTINS-Arena requests that you use the "Pay at Schalke" function in the official S04 app to top up your Knappenkarte. This avoids waiting times at the PayCounters.
As FC Schalke 04 wants to work sustainably and without printed materials, the sales receipt will be made available digitally in future. After paying for the purchase at the kiosk, it can be scanned from the customer display at the checkout via smartphone and saved after downloading.

Can rooms be rented for private parties or business events?
Yes, that is possible. The VELTINS-Arena offers various rooms - for small events as well as for large celebrations. Whether corporate events, weddings or birthdays - the Schalke stadium is versatile.

Are earplugs available in the arena?
No, we do not sell earplugs. You must bring your own if required.

Is it possible to visit the VELTINS-Arena?
Yes, guided tours of the VELTINS-Arena are offered regularly.
The architectural highlights such as the retractable pitch, the convertible roof and the large video cube continue to fascinate stadium guests. The tour also offers an insight into the blue and white players' dressing room, the players' tunnel designed like a mine tunnel, hospitality areas, media center, stadium chapel and other places that are otherwise not freely accessible to fans. *
The entire arena ring and the interior provide further unforgettable perspectives of the VELTINS-Arena. So don't forget your camera!
Arena tours last around 75 minutes and are led by trained stadium guides. Admission also includes access to the Schalke Museum, where the tours also start (Schalke Museum, stairwell 12/entrance via WEST 1).
Dogs are not permitted. Not suitable for people with severe walking difficulties and wheelchair users.
*Short-term restrictions may occur before and after major events.

TICKETS
How and where do I order tickets for events in the VELTINS-Arena?
Tickets can be purchased in three ways:
1) Online at tickets.schalke04.de.
2) By telephone on 0209 | 97751877. The hotline is available Monday to Friday from 10 am to 6 pm.
3.) Mondays to Fridays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Service Center on the club grounds.
What should I do if I have lost my tickets? Is it possible to issue replacement tickets?
To report the loss of a season or day ticket, FC Schalke 04 provides a form in its ticket store. It can be filled out here.
Can I return purchased tickets if I can no longer or no longer wish to attend the event?
It is not possible to return tickets or to take out ticket insurance.
Season tickets or one-way tickets for soccer matches can be offered for sale on the S04 ticket exchange.
Who can I contact if I have problems scanning my ticket?
If you have any problems scanning your ticket, the staff at the ticket offices will be happy to help.
ARRIVAL AND PARKING
How do I get to the VELTINS-Arena by car or train?
By car/bus
Visitors to the stadium can reach the VELTINS-Arena directly by car via exits 6 (Gelsenkirchen-Buer) and 7 (Herten) of the A2 and via exits 16 (Gelsenkirchen-Zentrum) and 17 (Gelsenkirchen-Schalke) of the A42. From the junctions, follow the signs to the VELTINS-Arena. A total of 14,000 parking spaces are available on site.
Destination for the navigation system
Enter "Adenauerallee 110" for parking lots A, B, C1, C2, C3 and Kinocenter.
For parking lots D1, D2, D3, D4, E1 and E2, enter "Willy-Brandt-Allee 50".
Information for coaches
During soccer matches, parking lot P6 is available for coaches (no nine-seaters!) with FC Schalke 04 fans. Enter "Ernst-Kuzorra-Weg" in the navigation system to reach the destination.
Buses with guest fans use the Gelsenwasser parking lot (destination in the navigation system is Berni-Klodt-Weg).
For coaches (vehicles with more than nine seats) a parking fee of 20 euros is payable. Parking tickets can be purchased directly from the steward. Those who drive to the parking lot two hours before kick-off park free of charge.
Visitors can find parking facilities for coaches at special events in the respective event information.
Tips for fans with disabilities
People with reduced mobility should get off at the Willy-Brandt-Allee stop, as this is free of steps and only slightly further away from the VELTINS-Arena.
FC Schalke 04 offers fans with disabilities an equal stadium experience, with services tailored to their needs. On a special page you will find all information about the various services offered by the club.
By public transportation
Take the streetcar from Gelsenkirchen main station to the VELTINS-Arena. The subway station Gelsenkirchen Hauptbahnhof is located in the first basement of the station.
Stadium visitors can take line 302 (direction GE-Buer) directly to the VELTINS-Arena stop.
The journey takes about 15 minutes. There are plenty of special coaches in use for many major events. The use of all VRR public transport is included in the ticket price for soccer matches.
Where can I park when attending an event at the VELTINS-Arena? What are the prices?

For major events in the VELTINS-Arena, the cost of a parking space in the public parking lots (B-C) is 10 euros.
Stadium visitors have the option of paying their parking fees for areas B to E either at several ticket machines on site, completely digitally via QR code or via the APCOA Flow app. The parking fee remains at 5 euros from two hours before kick-off. Those who arrive earlier do not have to do anything and will continue to pay nothing.
Fans do not receive parking tickets when entering the parking lot; instead, their license plate number is automatically recorded by cameras. It is recommended to pay immediately after entering the car park.
FC Schalke 04 is working with Park & Control (a subsidiary of APCOA PARKING Deutschland GmbH) to switch to digital processing. The service provider will also be used if the parking fee is not paid. In the event of non-payment of the parking fee, a payment request of 35 euros will be issued. The owner of the vehicle is identified via a license plate recording and then notified by letter.
Where can I park my motorcycle?
Parking spaces for motorcycles are available in the parking lot at the Berger Feld comprehensive school.
Where can I park my bike?
Fans can also reach the VELTINS-Arena in an environmentally friendly way by bicycle. There are over 600 bicycle parking spaces available around the arena. These are located in front of Tunnel 1, in front of WEST 2, next to the EAST ticket office and at the SO4 office (Ernst-Kuzorra-Weg 1).
Where can I park my motorhome?
Motorhome parking spaces are available at selected special events - including at the Ewald colliery. The respective offers are communicated separately on vveltins-arena.de/news, via the social media channels of the VELTINS-Arena and in the event newsletter. Visitors are requested to inform themselves in good time about the parking options.
ACCESSIBILITY
Where are toilets for people with disabilities?
Sanitary facilities with disabled access can be found in several areas of the arena.

Where can I find information for disabled guests / wheelchair users?
When the VELTINS-Arena was built in 2001, it was already a central concern to equip the arena with the greatest possible accessibility. The aim is to enable all visitors with disabilities to enjoy a comfortable visit to the arena to the full. This starts with the parking spaces, which allow disabled parking in the immediate vicinity of the arena.

STADIUM REGULATIONS
How big can the bag I bring with me be?
Only bags up to a size of DIN A4 format (21 cm x 29.7 cm) may be brought into the VELTINS-Arena after manual inspection.
What items am I not allowed to take into the VELTINS-Arena?
Information can be found here under § 5 Prohibitions of the Property and Stadium Regulations.
For special events, prohibited items may be listed in addition to the stadium regulations, depending on the respective event. Please inform yourself in advance.
Are children under the age of 16 allowed to attend concerts or sporting events unaccompanied by an adult?
This depends on the respective event format. Guests are requested to inform themselves in advance of the event and to observe the Youth Protection Act.
Can I smoke in the VELTINS-Arena?
Smoking is prohibited in all promenades, as these areas are considered enclosed spaces. However, smoking is still permitted at events inside the arena and in the stands.
The only exception: FC Schalke 04 asks all visitors to refrain from smoking in the family block out of consideration for the younger spectators.
There is a general smoking ban in the hospitality areas.
ON SITE
Where can I find paramedics, the fire department and the police?
The German Red Cross is located at stairwells 7 and 15, the fire department and police can be found at stairwell 3. Further information can be found here.
What are the temperatures like in the VELTINS-Arena? Is there heating / air conditioning?
As the VELTINS-Arena has neither heating nor air conditioning, the temperatures are similar to the outside temperatures.
Who decides whether the roof is closed?
For soccer matches, the decision is made in consultation with the referee, taking into account several factors (including weather data).
For concerts, it is decided on a case-by-case basis and in consultation with the organizer whether the roof will be opened or closed. Various factors (including weather data) are also taken into consideration here.
Is there a store with merchandise in or near the VELTINS-Arena?
During soccer matches, fan merchandise can be found in the Arena Shop at stairwell 3, further merchandise kiosks are located on the promenades at blocks R, N4, 16 and 56. Further information can be found here.
For special events, the opening of the merchandise kiosks depends on the respective event.
Are there checkrooms or lockers in the VELTINS-Arena where I can leave my personal belongings?
There are no checkrooms or lockers.
At soccer matches, unauthorized items can be taken into safekeeping for the duration of the event and collected again at the ticket office. The club is not liable for stored items.
For events, please obtain information separately for the respective event.
Is there a lost and found office for lost items?
The staff at the Service Point at Stairwell 5 / North Entrance will be happy to help you with lost items.
Identity cards are automatically returned after being found.
