
Spain won the soccer classic against Italy 1:0 on Thursday (20.6.). The decisive goal for the Iberians came in the 55th minute, Italy's Riccardo Calafiori scored with his knee into his own goal. Following England's 1-0 win over Serbia on Sunday (16.6.), it was the second UEFA EURO 2024 clash to be played at the Arena AufSchalke.
With their second win in their second match, Spain are the early winners of Group B. Italy are second with three points ahead of Albania and Croatia, who both have one point each.
Two UEFA EURO 2024 matches are still to be played in the Arena AufSchalke: Georgia and Portugal will face off on June 26 (9 p.m.) before the fourth and final EURO match is played in Gelsenkirchen on June 30 (6 p.m.). The winner of Group C will play against a third-placed team from Groups D, E or F for a place in the quarter-finals.
