Starting with the anniversary match against Real Madrid on Sunday (August 16), parking fees at the public parking lots around the VELTINS Arena will be adjusted. In parking lots B through E, the fee will be 10 euros per vehicle instead of the usual 5 euros.
This is due to increased costs—including those for Maintenance, traffic control, cleaning, and security services. To ensure that travel arrangements remain predictable and fair, free parking will still be available: Anyone who arrives at the public parking lots more than two hours before kickoff will continue to park for free. It’s therefore worth arriving early.

A bar displays the occupancy rate for each area: A traffic-light system makes it easy to see how full the parking lot is: When occupancy is up to 50 percent, the bar appears green; up to 80 percent, it appears orange; and 80 percent and above, it appears red.
