AC/DC POWER UP TOUR: The Pretty Reckless confirmed as support

This news should increase the anticipation for AC/DC 's upcoming "POWER UP" European tour even more: The successful American rock band THE PRETTY RECKLESS has been confirmed as support and promises to heat up hundreds of thousands of fans during the eleven AC/DC Germany shows!

On May 17 and 21, AC/DC will be guests at the VELTINS-Arena in Gelsenkirchen.

Founded in 2009, the US rock band led by model and actress Taylor Momsen has long since written its own success story: Over half a billion streams, 2 million albums sold and a No. 1 placement of the fourth and most recent studio album "Death by Rock and Roll" in 6 different US chart lists - that is the more than respectable record of the New York alternative rockers.

So it's no wonder that THE PRETTY RECKLESS are not only in demand among their fans, but also among fellow musicians - just last year they toured together with FOO FIGHTERS!

Now it's "POWER UP" together with AC/DC for the tour sensation of 2024!

"POWER UP" will be the first AC/DC European tour in eight years and will see the legendary rock'n'roll band perform in some of the continent's biggest stadiums.

AC/DC played their very first concert on December 31, 1973 at Chequers Nightclub in Sydney, Australia. They are one of the most influential rock bands in history and have sold over 200 million albums worldwide. The LP "Back In Black" is the "best-selling album by a band of all time" and the "third best-selling album by an artist" with over 50 million copies sold worldwide and counting. AC/DC was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame® and the Music Victoria Awards Hall of Fame in their home country of Australia in 2003. The band continues to play to sold-out stadiums on numerous continents, selling millions of albums annually and generating billions in streams.

Celebrating 50 years of success as the biggest rock'n'roll band in the world, AC/DC - Angus Young on lead guitar, singer Brian Johnson, rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, drummer Matt Laug and a new bassist taking over from Cliff Williams - are back to play for their loyal and huge fan base, which continues to grow year on year.
