With the start of the new season, there will be a change steeped in tradition in the royal blue living room: the east and west stands of the VELTINS-Arena will be given new names - in reference to the proud past of the Parkstadion.

In future, the former West Stand will be known as the Main Stand, while the East Stand will become the Gegengerade. With this renaming, two names from the old Parkstadion will return to the present, which for many Schalke fans are closely associated with formative moments and are an integral part of S04's history.

Fans will find the new stand names on all admission tickets and ticket bookings with immediate effect.
