Great recognition for FC Schalke 04's catering: On Tuesday (22 July), PETA Deutschland e.V. named the VELTINS-Arena the most vegan-friendly Bundesliga stadium of the 2024/2025 season for the fifth time in total.
The last time the club took part in the competition in 2023, it took first place with 38 points. This year, FC Schalke 04's home ground not only improved its score, it even took the top spot in the ranking with a new record score of 62 points.
Soccer fans can look forward to a wide selection at the home of the royal blues. The menu includes vegan currywurst, vegan fillet strips with noodles and curry coconut sauce, vegetable ravioli with lentil vegetables, vegan mince rolls and vegan chili sin carne.
Guido Kabacher, Managing Director of Arena Management GmbH, is delighted with the top ranking: "We are delighted that our vegan offering has once again taken first place and even set a new points record. Our aim is to offer all visitors a varied and contemporary catering experience - regardless of their dietary habits. The high demand encourages us to further expand our plant-based offering and thus make a contribution to greater sustainability."
