As part of the bett1.de Biathlon World Team Challenge on Sunday, December 28, 2025, in the VELTINS-Arena in Gelsenkirchen, a very special tournament will take place for the second time this year: the Biathlon Darts World Championships in the Winter Village!
Excitement and thrills right up to the last throw: a total of 16 teams, each with four participants, compete against each other in tournament mode. Two teams face each other in each round and throw at a biathlon-like target specially designed for this competition.
The task: to place as many darts as possible in the target! But be careful - it's not just about precision. If there is a tie at the end of the round, time is the deciding factor! Whether you're a darts pro or a biathlon fan - anyone can win here!
Anyone who wants to have an unforgettable experience with family or friends is very welcome. So, put your team together, practise your aim and compete for the title of the first Biathlon Darts World Championships - all participants will receive a starter bag with goodies from the WTC partners, including a starting number shirt. The first three winning teams will also receive exclusive VIP tickets for the biathlon at Schalke.
